Note:
- Walk times vary depending on weather conditions, so please note the walk times below
- Walks begin right at the start time so arrive early to sign-in, use the restroom, etc.
- Walks are cancelled if there is snow or ice on the sidewalks or the temperature is expected to be greater than 85 degrees during the walk. We normally email the list when this happens.
- The "Details/OSB" link for each walk may be used to get more information about the walk and allows you to sign-in via the online start box for that walk if one exists.

Glendoveer Golf course NE Parking Lot, Corner of NE 148th & NE Halsey (This is not the parking at the clubhouse but on the opposite side (NE Corner of Glendoveer)
Glendoveer Golf Course – YRE 173
- The walk will take you through quiet neighborhoods on sidewalks and streets, including a two-mile circuit of the Glendoveer Fitness Trail on bark dust around the golf course.
- Pets are not allowed at Glendoveer
- 5 and 10 km rated 1B (easy)

Candalaria Neighborhood Walk (TGW)
- The walk goes through a large cemetery then through the lovely, hilly Candalaria residential neighborhood.
- The 10k continues on natural trails and in forests to the Fairmount neighborhood.
- The Fairmount route goes past the Governor's Mansion and other attractive mansions and gardens.
- The 5km does not go by the Governor’s Mansion
- 5 and 10 km rated 3B (hard)

FOUR WALKS OVER A PERIOD OF 7 DAYS.
Lake Wenatchee State Park Walk (Event)
- Enjoy the woodsy beauty of Lake Wenatchee State Park with views of the lake and mountains beyond.
- The 5k is entirely within Lake Wenatchee State Park; register and drive to start.
- 8k/10k will leave from our home base at Lake Wenatchee Rec Club and follow paths through the woods to the park.
- 10k adds an out and back to Fish Lake
- 5km Rated 1B (easy) 8 and 10 km rated 1C (moderate)
Nason Ridge and Hidden Lake (Event)
- Two walks on the south side of Lake Wenatchee.
- Nason Ridge Trail gently climbs through a conifer forest with views of Lake Wenatchee, hills, and mountains.
- 10k reaches a ski warming hut with stunning views.
- Hidden Lake is a short hike to a beautiful mountain lake.
- Discover Pass required
- 5 km is a 2C (hard) or a 3C (difficult)
- 10 km is 3C (difficult)
Leavenworth Ski Hill and Town (Event)
- This walk goes through the forested walking and cross country ski hill area just north of Leavenworth.
- The event continues through residential areas to the downtown area of this Bavarian themed town and along the Wenatchee River
- 5 & 10 km rated 1B (easy)
Stevens Pass - Wellington, WA (Event)
- See the original Stevens Pass RR tunnel portal; the Wellington RR disaster site; walk through an old railroad snow shed; with great views of the Tye River Valley
- This event has no free parking
- 5 & 10 km rated 1B (easy)

Hazel Dell Group Walk – YRE 425
- Walk in older but nice residencial areas and neighborhood parks.
- The 10 km will walk a portion of the paved Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway.
- 5 km rated 1A (easy) and the 10 km rated 2A (moderate).

Dungeness Crab Fest Walk – (EVENT)
- Time to eat Dungies!
- Loop #1: 5 km walk on well-groomed trails to the Olympic National Park Headquarters.
- Loop #2: 6 km walk on sidewalks to the harbor for the feast.
- Do both for an 11 km adventure.
- Walking sticks are encouraged on the trails near the Olympic National Park Headquarters if it is muddy.

- The walk travels through a large park with boardwalks through natural wetlands and through neighborhoods and then along a creek and through nature areas.
- 5km rated 1A (easy) 10 km rated 3b (hard)

Great Columbia Crossing - EVENT
- This event is a part of the Astoria Bridge Crossing and you must register in advance with the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce for The Great Columbia Crossing.

- The event is limited to 3,500 participants.
- For this year the limit has been reached and no more registrations can be made.
- Cost this year was $50.00 if made before Sep.
- This information is included here so that if you want to participate in this event for next year, you should register next August (2026) for the event.
- The event is a lot of fun with a lot of people.
- The event is just under 10 km and you must finish the event in under 2 hours.
- If you are a slow walker this is not for you.
- Again, it is too late to register for this year but put it in your calendar if you want to do this next year.

- Walk in neighborhoods along pathways, trails and bridges in Cedar Mill area.
- Visit the site of the original lumber mill where the existing waterfalls powered the mill.
- 6 km is rated 1A (easy) & 10 walk is rated 2B (moderate)

- Enjoy a walk through this attractive neighborhood in South Salem in shaded areas along with a walk through Belcrest Memorial Park and Sunnyslope Park.
- 5km route includes gradual slopes and one long hill.
- 10km route has hills and the Croisan Scenic Way with views of the Cascades.
- 5km is rated 1A (easy), 10 km rated 2B (moderate)

Shady Cove Town Walk – (Seasonal)
- Walk on paved & gravel streets and on the fairly new sidewalks in town.
- The 5K goes North and the 6K goes South.
- 6 and 11 km rated 1B
Blue Grotto Walk – (Seasonal)
- Walk on the Rogue River trail from the Lewis River Trailhead for both routes.
- For the 6k route, walk to the new bridge and turnaround to return to the start.
- For the 10k route, cross the bridge and continue to the Blue Grotto Falls. (Look for signage to direct you to the falls).
- 6 and 10 km rated 2B (Moderate)
Casey State Park Walk – (Seasonal)
- Walk along the raging Rogue River to a county operated fish hatchery and up to the William L. Jess Dam impounding Lost Creek Lake and return.
- 5 and 10 km rated 1B (easy)
Lower Table Rock Walk – (Seasonal)
- Begin with a roughly mile and a half climb to the top of this volcanic plateau and look down into Medford and the surrounding area including Mount McLoughlin.
- There is an elevation gain of 820 feet.
- This walk is an out and back.
- 10 km rated 3B (hard)
Prospect Trails Walk – (Seasonal)
- This is a “Progressive Walk”.
- Park in the parking lot by the Prospect Historic Hotel or where legal parking is available.
- Walk to Pearsony Falls and return to your vehicle.
- Drive approximately 1 mile to the second parking lot.
- Here you will walk to a ”Y” with the choice to see the Giant Boulders or the Mill Creek & Barr Creek Falls
- 5 km rated 2B (Moderate)

- Walk on dirt trails and road shoulders around Remlinger Farm to the Snoqualmie Valley RR Trail across the Tolt River and into the town of Carnation (both residential and commercial districts).
- Views of Tolt and Snoqualmie rivers, Cascade Mountains, farm fields.
- The AVA National Volkssport Month patch will be available for purchase.
- Those who come to the walk in costume will be eligible for prize drawing

- The walk will go into the nice Grant, Fremont and Irvington residential areas and into the Lloyd Center.
- The last two years there were a lot of residences that were decorated for Halloween and fall.

- Enjoy the hills of Dundee, a small town known for its many wineries and restaurants.
- Lovely houses on hills seen on the 5k/10k route while the new 6k focuses on downtown & nearby residences.
